Offering mountain views, Moto-Center BeO AG (Bike & Bed) is an accommodation situated in Brienz, 36 km from Grindelwald Terminal and 3 km from Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg. Better than we expected! Everything was beautiful and very, very clean. The owners are very kind. There is a shared balcony and an equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, coffee machine, plates, cups, glasses)... The cupboards are full of snacks and the fridge is full of juices, beer, water, yogurt, ice cream, and all of it costs only 1 CHF. In the fridge you have your own container for things, and if that's not enough, you can ask for more. You also have a closet in the dining room with a key where you can keep your things. The bathroom is fully equiped (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, ear cleaning sticks, wet wipes, dental floss, hair dryer)... What particularly surprised us is that when you check in, you get a card with your basic information on it, and with that card you have a discount on a very large number of the attractions you'd like to see. The location is simply breathtaking, there's lots of extraordinary locations to visit, and many of them were in a close vicinty of our accommdation. If you want to experience Switzerland, come to Brienz!

This place is run by a lovely couple who are genuinely kind, helpful, and solution-oriented. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. The room they gave us was beautiful, clean, and cozy — exactly what we needed. Their warmth and hospitality truly made a difference in our trip. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place with heart and character. Sonja was a great, helpful host. Spacious room with balcony and sink. Plus much transportation in the Simmental Valley is included…trains & gondolas! The breakfast is good & generous.

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. The hotel is very pleasant, very clean, nicely decorated, and the location is of course incredible. Plus, the staff is fantastic. Definitely an excellent hotel.
