The traditional wooden chalet was set in a beautiful location at the top of the mountain in Brambruesch, a gondola/cable car ride or 20/30 minute car journey from Chur city centre. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people. Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

All units include a safety deposit box. The property is an old villa renovated with good attention to details. They invested a lot I think. They also have a fancy restaurant, wine room all of good taste and quality. High class. In the center of Chiavenna, one hour from St Moritz. Parking is at 4 minutes and free. From the parking you can go up in a park (3€) and see Chiavenna from top.

The property has an outdoor dining area. Lovely welcome, well organised, great location, very beautiful, very clean and has everything you need. Also the bed was extremely comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough!

Would highly recommend. Ideal location for hiking.
