Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!

The woman who served us breakfast was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our mornings delightful. The location was also very convenient for accessing Mount Pilatus.

In an expensive country as Switzerlands is, this accommodation has excellent value. Clean room, easy self checkin at 11pm, free coffee station and small fridge in (shared) living room, good communication with owner, en located 5 min walk from train train station and tourist train to Pilatus Kum.

פנסיון סנט יאקוב (Pension St. Jakob) ממוקם ממש על גדות אגם אויגנזי (Eugenisee) הציורי, במרחק של 800 מ' ממרכז אנגלברג (Engelberg), ובמרחק של 5 דקות הליכה מרכבל אנגלברג. They let us stay at Espen hotel nearby which the room was very new. The scenary of the view from our room was so good. Breakfast staff are very friendly.

מלון באנהוף (Hotel Bahnhof) ממוקם מול תחנת הרכבת בעיירת גיסוויל (Giswil) השלווה, במרחק של 20 דקות הליכה בלבד מאגם סארנן (Sarnen). המלון כולל מסעדה וגן גדול. Quiet and comfortable, laid back and easy.

The Gasthaus Paxmontana is centrally located in Flüeli-Ranft and offers panoramic views over the Sarner Lake, the Oberwald mountains and the Melch valley. We stayed in the guesthouse, very quiet, wonderful view! Full breakfast, lots of choices. Comfortable beds, very clean. The area was beautiful! Plenty of hiking, we heard the cows being moved one morning and the sound echoed around the valley! Staff was pleasant. Additional restaurants in the village. So glad we chose this place!
