Casa Barbara is close to the town and to the beach. It is a short walk off the main road in a quiet location and feels very safe. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool is beautiful! The hosts are very friendly and easy going.

21 Palms features a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Las Galeras, 1.5 km from Las Galeras Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a pool table. An amazing place to stay in. Staff/ owner is super friendly and an amazing host. We could not request a better way to be received. A "must go" for sure and amazing stay in option. Will come back without thinking whenever opportunities arise. Hopefully we were as good guests as they were as hosts.

This place is paradise located in a very beatyfull and quiet garden . Close to the towncenter, and the nice restaurants on the beach. A 3 min walking distance to the nearest beach. The manager was exstreamly helpfull and the staff very friendly and made us feel at home. We higly recommend the cosy small houses with a local touch of colonial style and atmosphere.

Beautiful view, delicious breakfast and best host ever ! Just be aware that is in the mountain so is imperative having a good car to go up there. But it worth it. Did I mention that Tony is adorable?

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa ARCOIRIS is located in Las Galeras, 600 metres from La Playita Beach. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The construction of the building is incredible: the rooms are spacious, the floors and walls are covered with what seems to be stone tiles reminiscent of a Roman palace. The wood that finished the construction is robust, sanded, and stained with polyurethane. I don’t know this for a fact, but the owner and designer of the place must be German. Everything in the place resembles a well built German house. Much nicer space than any of the resorts I have stayed in.

Boasting accommodation with a balcony, Best bed and breakfast in Samana Breakfast Included is situated in Santa Bárbara de Samaná. Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

Located in Las Galeras, 1.5 km from Las Galeras Beach, Villa La Caleta offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. Dario was an an absolutely exceptional host. He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He also took the time to give lots of good advice. We feel like we left with a new friend. The accommodation was very suitable for three. The location is very quiet, the garden is refreshing, and the beach is very close. Really good value
