Great spacious room with fast internet, great shower with hot water, coffee maker and fridge. The balcony was nice as well and the guest house is close to restaurants and bars. The beach is just across the street. This place is a true gem.

It is a short walk off the main road in a quiet location and feels very safe. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool is beautiful! The hosts are very friendly and easy going.

An amazing place to stay in. Staff/ owner is super friendly and an amazing host. We could not request a better way to be received. A "must go" for sure and amazing stay in option. Will come back without thinking whenever opportunities arise. Hopefully we were as good guests as they were as hosts.

Close to the towncenter, and the nice restaurants on the beach. A 3 min walking distance to the nearest beach. The manager was exstreamly helpfull and the staff very friendly and made us feel at home. We higly recommend the cosy small houses with a local touch of colonial style and atmosphere.

Beautiful view, delicious breakfast and best host ever ! Just be aware that is in the mountain so is imperative having a good car to go up there. But it worth it. Did I mention that Tony is adorable?

The construction of the building is incredible: the rooms are spacious, the floors and walls are covered with what seems to be stone tiles reminiscent of a Roman palace. The wood that finished the construction is robust, sanded, and stained with polyurethane. I don’t know this for a fact, but the owner and designer of the place must be German. Everything in the place resembles a well built German house. Much nicer space than any of the resorts I have stayed in.

Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He also took the time to give lots of good advice. We feel like we left with a new friend. The accommodation was very suitable for three. The location is very quiet, the garden is refreshing, and the beach is very close. Really good value
