Maison La Tourelle è situato a Baume-les-Dames, a 43 km da Besançon Vesoul University e 45 km da Time museum of Besançon. This historic home is a most special accommodation to stay. Dating back to the 15 hundreds, it has been expertly restored. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the linens crispy and clean. We arrived on bicycles and were able to check in early since our room was ready. There is a large secure area for bike parking with outlets for e-bikes. We were made to feel very welcome.

Christof and Helene are magnificent hosts, make you feel like part of the family instead of just a guest. A really novel way to treat guests which was highly appreciated. The location is central, yet it is very quiet, fantastic for sleeping well at night. My French is very poor, yet communication was remarkably easy. The home cooked dinners were absolutely fantastic. I was here for work purposes and will return in the future if I return in the area for work. I recommend this B&B to anyone traveling in the area. Or even just passing through and needing a relaxing place to stay for only one night.

Such friendly hosts made us very welcome when we arrived. The room was really large and roomy, bathroom very clean. Everything was lovely. Breakfast was excellent too with fresh fruit salad, fresh bread/croissants with home made jams.

We are absolutely satisfied by our stay! It's a very calm and beautiful place with a great swimming pool and a stunning view from our balcony. The room was big and clean. The owners were helpful. There are a lot of funny goats on the farm. We liked the breakfast as well. The swimming pool is well protected from children, clean and relaxing (but not deep).
