Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. The room was big enough, clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any request we had. Absolutely recommended. The location is perfect because the bus stop to Windermere and the city centre was 2 mins away.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Comfortable, clean, great location! Wonderful breakfast and host!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. This is a lovely place to spend 1 or several nights. House is immaculately kept and owners are on site and very accommodating. We very much appreciated the effort they put in to a positive guest experience.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. beautiful rooms. we really enjoyed our stay. wonderful breakfast, especially the pancakes.
