Great cosy and clean room with everything you need. Black tea and a biscuit in the morning is a great way to start your day. Enough room to unpack your suitcase. I especially loved the desk with a mirror. All my questions were promptly answered. Highly recommend this guest house for your stay in Edinburgh.

Absolutely loved the Lauderville guest house. Host was incredible and nothing was too much to ask. The four poster room was incredibly cosy and the perfect setting for our Christmas break.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Excellent place to stay, lovely room, good breakfast, great location and easy to get into Edinburgh. Hosts were lovely, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend. We wouldn't' hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.. hoping to stay there again in the future.

Set in East Calder and only 15 km from Forth Bridge, Ashcroft Farmhouse offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Super friendly landlady. Nice room, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent breakfast, private parking. We wanted to stay the night somewhere out of the hussle & bustle of Edinburgh and this was the perfect location. We asked for advice on somewhere to eat in the evening and she suggested "The Grapes Village Pub" nearby in East Calder. It was cosy, had friendly staff, and the best pub meal we've had for a longtime.
