Overlooking gardens, this Victorian house is just a mile (1.6 km) from the centre of Edinburgh. Perfect stay! The house is so beautiful and adds to our Edinburgh trip. The check in was really easy. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and the temperate perfect for a warm and convenient sleep. The location was also less than 10min to the center by bus. Overall 10/10!

Amazing and spacious bathroom. Everything clean. Reception staff was very kind and helpful. Housekeeping was leaving us chocolate bars every day. Great environment overall and very close to some convenience stores, pubs, restaurants and bus stops. In just 20 mins you can be in the scenic downtown of the fairytale like Edinburgh. Recommended.

Situated in Edinburgh, the recently renovated 4 Friends House features accommodation 1.3 km from Royal Yacht Britannia and 3.1 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. It was all good. And they were very friendly as well.

Offering a garden and garden view, Roost Hill - Free Parking Zone is situated in Edinburgh, 2.7 km from University of Edinburgh and 3 km from National Museum of Scotland. Alia was super attentive! She checked in frequently and made sure everything went smoothly. She also gave us loads of recommendations and was always super responsive. I felt very comfortable and the check in/check out couldn't have been any smoother! Our room exceeded our expectations - it was so much bigger and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. To summarise, I have no complaints at all! Would gladly go back.

Situated in Edinburgh, near Edinburgh Waverley station, Edinburgh Playhouse and Royal Mile, Ben Cruachan Guest House features free WiFi. Very nice and clean room with the best breakfast we ever had in a guesthouse! The owner and staff were super firendly and helpful. It's located just 15-20 mins from the old town, but also quite close to the Arthur's seat which is a must visit!

Set in East Calder and only 15 km from Forth Bridge, Ashcroft Farmhouse offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Elizabeth was such a great host, and went out of her way to make sure I had a smooth check-in at a late time. She also helped organize my taxi at checkout. The room and all the amenities were perfect and I loved the coziness of the entire place. Not to mention, the Scottish breakfast Elizabeth made was one of my favorite breakfasts I've had! Highly recommend staying here for a friendly and genuine experience in Scotland.

Situated in Edinburgh, within 15 km of Forth Bridge and 16 km of Murrayfield Stadium, Whitecroft B&B features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who... Lorna was an amazing host. In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.
