The village’s panorama viewpoint is just 3 minutes walk away, and you can be there easily in the early morning before the tourists arrive. The rooms are clean with stupendous views and en suite bathroom. Mamuka’s mother is a whiz in the kitchen: we booked dinner and breakfast with her during our 2 night stay and every meal was delicious. Home-made jams, milk from the family cows, produce from their garden and so on. Mamuka was also very responsive and helpful with advice and booking of transfer vehicle, and we learnt a lot about life in the mountains.

Beautiful, scrupulously clean guest house in a simply stunning town. Breakfast was a delicious Georgian farmhouse meal with home made yoghurt and fresh eggs from the chooks. Superb location, quiet environment and fabulous hosts.

Amazing stay in winery near Martvili, the location is perfect to further explore Samegrelo and its natural beauty. The rooms were clean and comfortable, whereas the highlight of the stay was excellent dinner and wine. The breakfast was also superb and filling with various Georgian foods. I also recommend to don’t miss stargazing at night!

Kokhta guest house On the mountain mempunyai kolam renang outdoor musiman, taman, lounge bersama, dan teras di Jvari. We want the Kokhta family to adopt us. It was so nice. Can 100% recommend. The dinner is amazing.

After staying at many guesthouses where the quality had been a bit low, it was so nice to stay at a place where everything was perfect and easy. The entrance was very cute and inviting with a lot plants, sofas and heating in the floor. The room is well equipped and completely quiet at all times. The hostess came to help me right away when I arrived. I booked it late on the day I checked in, but the room was ready for me when I arrived 45 min later. I could check out later the day after, maybe because Mestia was not so busy in October. She did everything to help me, and her daughter helped with translating.

Management here really went above and beyond helping us out. The elderly lady who makes the (delicious,enormous) breakfasts doesn't really speak English (though if you know a bit of Russian you're good) but she's still terrific. The manager/owner helped us out no end with transport and storage issues. There's a huge, sweet dog who hangs out outside. Rooms are very well set up, and most have terrific mountain views.
