We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

Our host set up our trekking tour for us with a great guide- everything included- which was so easy, and we had great laundry service done. Water, tea and coffee available to self-serve and beer was available for purchase- nice details!

Marc and Erica are friendly and they tried their best to make us feel at home. The food is great, especially the banana pancakes in the morning ! The location of the guest house is close to the Ijen which is about a 30 minute drive. We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.

Very friendly staff, they help you with everything you need. Nice breakfast, great price, the room is huge and new, all clean. 2 min from the train station and near the start of Ijen volcano. Staff were so lovely and kind, allowed me an early check in as I was riding from Jember on my bicycle and needed to store it somewhere before check in - instead they let me settle in early. Rohmat helped me with some activities as I was too late to go to the waterfall. Lovely experience and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Mountain Ecolodge er gististaður í Gubukklakah, 24 km frá Bentoel-safninu og 25 km frá Bima Sakti Hall. Þaðan er útsýni til fjalla. Mary is the perfect host and made us feel right at home. The room is very nice and new and has an amazing view. Mary and he husband did everything they could to make it a great trip and I would highly recommend!

The best place to stay ever in Ijen. The owner are very helpful, I feel like home when I stayed there. They also can provide nice tour to ijen, not expensive. The owner can speak English very well, you can ask about culture around there.
