The host, Dimmer, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, included transportation to/from the island, scooter rental etc. He was always available in person and by phone to answer questions. The room was huge with a great big balcony with amazing view, very clean with new furniture. Access to the lake and a great swimming spot. Would definitely stay again!

Great location with a café that serves outstanding food just across the street. The hosts are kind and good company. There’s the possibility to do laundry and rent a scooter. The rooms were spacious and clean and I loved the big terrace.

The view from the balcony is amazing. The family, who runs the place is super friendly, polite and helpful. The beds are big and the mattrass is firm and grwat to sleep in. The bathroom isclean and modern.

The accommodation was great, directly at the lake, so lovely! It's so well-made. The staff is so friendly and you can get a scooter for 12-13 hours for a good price. I enjoyed my stay so much!

Proprio sul lungomare, Romlan offre alloggi a 3 stelle a Tuk Tuk e offre un giardino, una zona spiaggia privata e un ristorante. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.
