Hub Tata Guesthouse er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Tuk Tuk og er með garð. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir vatnið. Þegar veður er gott er gestum velkomið að sitja úti. The property is very clean. The staff were very helpful. You have to go down a flight a stairs to go to the room. Overall, it was a good stay.

Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse & Jungle Trek er staðsett í Bukit Lawang. Heimagistingin býður upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði, sólarhringsmóttöku og ókeypis WiFi. Fantastic guest house. We actually saw Thomas Leaf Monkey's in the garden on our arrival : ) Brian & Sarah were fantastic. Very welcoming and helpful, as were the whole team. The jungle trek (we did 2D1N) was incredible. We saw so many animals. The guides, Jerry & Gunar were brilliant and loads of fun too. Plus the food provided during the trek was delicious. Highly recommend using these guys.

The view is superb right from the room balcony. The hosts are great with their hospitality and personalised services. You feel like home right away. We chit chat everyday like an old friend. Breakfast is nice too. The guesthouse is on Gado-Gado hill and it is close to the paragliding base. Perfect sunset view.

JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HÚSIÐ - Gönguferðir og samgöngur Only Book With Us er staðsett í Bukit Lawang og er með sundlaug með útsýni yfir ána. Everything was wonderful. The location overlooking the river from your balcony is amazing. The room is basic but for the prize it is fantastic value. Apart from the fantastic view you get a super comfy bed, a big mosqito net (without holes :-), a bathroom and toilet (cold water), a fan and WIFI in the room - which I was not expecting. But above all Alex and his family are exellent hosts and you feel very velcome. Alex arranged transport for me to and from Bukit Lawang. I would really recommend this transport (shared tourist taxi) and of course the main thing: Alex arranged a two day trek for me. It vas amazing with lots of wild life including orangutans.

Gotong Rotong bus station and convenience store are located about 10 to 15 mins away by foot. The quiet villa with nice ambience is tucked away from town. Padi fields just a few minutes walk from the villa. Tyson, Dedek and team are super friendly. Their dog Balu is a charm. They are able to organize trips to the jungle, Tangkahan, transport and etc. It's like a one-stop villa for everything. The room is of good size and bed is very comfortable. Restaurant in the villa serves good food. (One can always replenish drinking water in the restaurant.) There is no need to walk out for meals. In any case, not much choices available near the villa unless one goes to Bukit Lawang. Bukit Lawang town is 20 minutes walk from the villa walking pass local residences. If not, one can take a motorbike to the town. The jungle trek organized by Tyson comes with a friendly and knowledagble guide and assistant. Saw 2 orangutans during the trek and also a few monkeys. Trek is tough and it's goes uphill and downhill. One ought to be fairly fit. Highly recommend Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa.

Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking er staðsett í Bukit Lawang og býður upp á garð, verönd, veitingastað og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

SeaGate Bungalows í Sabang býður upp á gistirými, einkastrandsvæði, garð og garðútsýni. Seagate Bungalows are very new, located right by the water with beautiful views. Exceptional bathrooms and room facilities. The hosts (Borja and Yuyun) with their staff are very hands-on with any requests and queries, etc. They even arranged for snorkelling, dolphin watching trip and transport etc. The on-site restaurant serves good food and good service. Would definitely come and stay again, and recommend to friends and family.

Sahnan Guest House er staðsett í Bukit Lawang og er með garð, verönd, veitingastað og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. There was nothing not to love here. The property was clean and well-located, the staff went above and beyond for us by helping us organize rides and activities, the bed was quite comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was tasty and cheap. With the river running by so close, it felt like we were staying at an alpine lodge! The family running the guest house is extremely kind. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Make sure to bring cash with you, though. As of writing this it’s a cash-only town with the nearest ATM about 7km away.
