A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. Where to start...the cozy room, clean accomodation, 2 bathrooms that you only have to share with 2 other rooms, well equipped shared kitchen, use of the sauna and hot pot, nice location BUT most important the host Elsa is the best! I could stay an extra night because of the bad weather and she was kind enough to get me back on my feet to continue my road trip (driving in Iceland is quite the adventure). Best guesthouse I´ve been in!

After being stuck for two days due to road closure, Maggý was very helpful to deal with the situation, doing her best for our confort. The guest house is well located and what a lovely little town.
