Bjork Guesthouse, a property with a garden, is located in Laugarvatn, 25 km from Thingvellir National Park, 29 km from Geysir, as well as 39 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. The apartment is very modern, clean, nice, and well-equipped. We had everything we needed for our stay in the rooms and bathroom, as well as the fridge in our room. By the way, the snack and drink fridge in the corridor was also an amazing idea! The owners are very friendly and nice; they provided us with very useful information and instructions we needed for our stay, and they were always there to respond quickly to our questions, etc. What's more, it was so nice to receive their little welcome gift: Icelandic chocolate! We also loved this little charming city very much. We hope to come back again one day. Highly recommended! P.S. the location is amazing!

We arrived extremely late in the evening so contactless check in was very appreciated. We also liked that the staff had put a notice which rooms are ours. That helped a lot for us tired tourists. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Liked the art and the little interior objects. This place is someone's gem they cherish and maintain. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. Used it to prepare proper breakfast and did some meal prep for the road.

The whole place is remarkable - the pool (less known than the big tourist-oriented pools of the west, but cozy and beautiful), its surroundings (decent hiking trails without a single person in view), the room itself, and - last but not least - the staff, very helpful and proficient. The rooms are extremely clean (and I mean it, I saw clinics dirtier than that), the kitchen is well equipped, and the appliances are in good shape. Moreover, the location is very quiet by night.

Located just 31 km from Geysir, Brekkugerdi Guesthouse features accommodation in Laugaras with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The room was clean, beds are very comfortable and soft. The kitchen is well equipped, you can literally cook anything you want. Highly recommended!!!!

Set just 50 km from Gullfoss Waterfall, Álftröð Guesthouse offers accommodation in Brautarholt with access to a garden, a bar, as well as luggage storage space. Excellent breakfast, location and overall lovely guesthouse, our host was also very friendly, this was our favorite accommodation throughout our 10 day trip in Iceland!
