It was equipped with all necessaties. We had our own shower and Toilette. Bathroom and room was very clean and the cabin was quite spacious. We had a parking spot right in front of the cabin. The main Restaurant was only a five minutes walk away. There is an option for breakfast, but we didnt try. Check in was very unproblematic and the staff was very nice. It was a perfect accomodation for us.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. If I could give more than 10, I would happily do it. It was a fantastic apartment. I was a bit hesitant about shared kitchen initially. But it was absolutely fine. It was huge and exceptionally clean, had loads of utensils and cooking equipment. A full size dishwasher. So they have set up the kitchen in a way that multiple people can cook same time. They also come every morning to clean and reset the kitchen. They also give free supplies like breads, tomato, butter, oils etc. Washing machine came in very handy as this was day 7 of our Iceland trip when we stayed in Birkilauf. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean. Bathroom also looks newly done up Location is very close to all main areas like Hverir geothermal, Hverfjall Volcano and Dimmuborgir and lake Myvatn. Overall everything was great. Highly recommend.

Situated by Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with shared facilities. The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. I was directly surprised by the change. I was here five years ago and the equipment was bad. The renovation is great. Clean rooms, large kitchen and common room. Close to Pizza and restaurants with a farm. Very nice stafs.

Offering rooms and cottages, Hlid Hostel is 500 metres from Lake Mývatn, in Reykjahlíd. WiFi and parking are free. Facilities include a BBQ area, terrace and shared kitchen. the location is great and given the very limited options in the area this is a great choice. we stayed in the shared room with 4 beds and I was superafraid how it will go but went very well. the room was clean and the common kitchen area was spacios and well equiped. we spent most of the time there. the check in and check out was very efficient
