Cozy place, well heated, very nice view, very quiet, nicely furnished, comfy beds, only a few km from the next village, where we got nice breakfast at the bakery and had delicious dinners at both restaurants.

Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. Everything! It was wonderful, the location, the views, the fasciitis, just everything.

Comfy bed and it had everything we needed to rest up between hikes around the peninsula. The host even made their own little guide to the peninsula, which was super cool.
