Very clean, great facilities and good provision of anything you might need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Thank you!

Set in Ino, 28 km from Odo Dam Museum, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. It’s a wonderful guesthouse with a beautiful river right next to it. The owners are lovely and my room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and they can change it to vegetarian for you. It looks like they’re trying to use natural products wherever they can! I really enjoyed staying here :)

The guesthouse is located a few hundred meters above the valley floor with a great view of the surrounding mountains and the river in the valley. It’s nice and quiet with only sounds of nature audible. The bathing facilities are in a separate small building, which makes the place quite unique. The hosts made a very flexible check in possible and prepared some refreshments.

Host is friendly and helpful,and he gifted me a cup noodle after marathon while all around is close. Train station and parking is just across the street. House is old Japanese style but clean.Bed comfortable.

We rented a car at Kochi Ryoma Airport. The guesthouse was conveniently located near the airport and the freeway, making it easy to access our destination, Dogo Onsen. Initially, I was concerned about parking, but the guesthouse was on a wide road, which is important to know when renting a car in Japan. It was simple to maneuver in and out of the parking spaces located behind the house. The guesthouse was in the town of Noichi, where we enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants. Additionally, its central location between my two other destinations, Kochi-shi and Aki-shi, meant that I didn't have to drive a lot in one day. Our host, Kyoko-san, was incredibly friendly and kind. Since it was the off-season, she gave the three of us two rooms, which allowed for a comfortable stay. I slept well during our time there. Unfortunately, I lost a hubcap from the rental car—it's a long story. On our departure morning, Kyoko-san went out of her way to prepare breakfast for my son and me. After saying our goodbyes, Kyoko-san called to inform us that my son had left his passport and charger behind. She kindly brought them all the way to the airport for us. Overall, I felt that the guesthouse was truly a home away from home.

You can see the owner's attention to detail in every little thing. Such a beautiful and amazing house! We definitely want to come back and stay for a few days to really enjoy it!

The host was super nice and the bed comfy. everything is well decorated with taste. highly recommended.

Set within 4.1 km of Sukumo City History Museum and 10 km of Enkoji Temple, sukumoゲストハウス 和NAGOMI offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Sukumo. Hiroshi-san was an amazing host! :D He made sure we had everything we need and felt comfortable when we arrived, then very generously made dinner for us as well. He's very warm and a great conversationalist with amazing humour, talking with him was probably what I enjoyed the most about our stay. Hosting aside, the place was very clean and well prepared. It's a Japanese style house that had some really pretty wooden decor. (I do really enjoy old furniture :D) The room was comfortable and warm, he had towels and other amenities prepared as well. We were also invited to his cafe for breakfast the next day, which turned out to be lovely! I'd definitely recommend staying here especially if you like meeting new people. Hiroshi-san seem like he really enjoyed hosting and would make sure you have the best time you can there.

Superior for a dorm room, you get as much privacy as one can have in a shared room, with almost capsule like wooden bunk beds. Beautiful and functional design, nice common areas and well kept facilities. Location is little out of city Center, but close enough to the nearest train station. Good for people who enjoy quality of sleep and local suburbs. Most importantly the staff is amazing, making your stay exceptional.

Its one of the only places on the henro track in this area and its literally on the track. I got a full family room for myself. I didnt see any place close to get dinner, and the food they serve is quite tasty and does the job (its a bento box not fresh made food)
