Very unique mountain top location in traditional Japanese home, but made very comfortable with everything needed for a cozy and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend if looking for an experience off the beaten path. We especially enjoyed warming up in the fire pit, while BBQing a delicious meal and enjoying the relaxing and awesome views from the mountains.

Ekimaehouse Samaru er nýlega enduruppgert gistirými í Shimanto-cho, 13 km frá Kaiyodo-Hobby-safninu og 24 km frá Monjudo-hofinu. Exceptional in every sense! I loved my stay. The host is the nicest owner you could ever meet, so friendly, so willing to help and a good linguist too. I cannot thank him enough for the kind welcome and advice on where to cycle next. The house is much bigger than the photos show with really cool lounging about spaces all over! Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!

Guesthouse En er staðsett í Ochi, 28 km frá Hijiri-helgiskríninu og 28 km frá Odo Dam-safninu, og býður upp á garð- og fjallaútsýni. The place is located in a calm and beautiful area, it is well maintained and the owners were really nice and helpful people.

The house itself was super fun and quirky and the room was the perfect size for three people. Maki was also super kind and gave us a ton of great restaurant and experience recommendations for Kochi!

Set within 4.1 km of Sukumo City History Museum and 10 km of Enkoji Temple, sukumoゲストハウス 和NAGOMI offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Sukumo. Hiroshi-san was an amazing host! :D He made sure we had everything we need and felt comfortable when we arrived, then very generously made dinner for us as well. He's very warm and a great conversationalist with amazing humour, talking with him was probably what I enjoyed the most about our stay. Hosting aside, the place was very clean and well prepared. It's a Japanese style house that had some really pretty wooden decor. (I do really enjoy old furniture :D) The room was comfortable and warm, he had towels and other amenities prepared as well. We were also invited to his cafe for breakfast the next day, which turned out to be lovely! I'd definitely recommend staying here especially if you like meeting new people. Hiroshi-san seem like he really enjoyed hosting and would make sure you have the best time you can there.

This place was brilliant. The hosts were so friendly and we loved the coworking space next door to the guesthouse. We were able to catch up with a little work as well as get a great night's sleep. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful and there were many shops nearby. Tomaruku was an excellent choice and we would love to return one day in the near future.
