Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. The place is very good located, close from Gion but in a quiet street, the Room is confortable, big enough for a couple. The staff was incredible, Sim the owner makes you feel at home and gives us the best advice for our itineraries. I will go again to Kyoto and stay as well at this place!!

We loved staying in our room. It was spaceous, super clean and cosy.

遥華-Haruka House terletak di lokasi utama di Kyoto, dan mempunyai taman, WiFi percuma dan teres. This was an absolutely magnificent stay with the best amenities and support anyone could've asked for. Haruka and her husband were immensely helpful and attentive, going above and beyond in giving us tips and guidance, and always keeping us supplied with amenities. The house had more amenities than I've seen anywhere else - in addition to towels and linens, there was also shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and even makeup remover. We didn't use the kitchen very much as we were out and about a lot, but there were lots of spices and basic cooking supplies available, and we appreciated the toaster oven and coffee maker a lot. The bed was beautifully comfortable and soft, as were the pillows and comforters. The whole house was very clean and the tiny garden instilled a nice sense of calm, while at the same time we were very close to the metro station, allowing us to get around easily every day. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, as well as a vending machine right outside the house. We've never felt more at home anywhere else.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kind to our children; they made the stay feel like a family visit. We loved the big room with comfy beds and a tatami breakfast area. We also liked the onsen-style private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The location was in a small quiet street close to the bus- and train station, and for the people with more stamina even within walking distance of the old town and central shopping areas.

Toni was an excellent host - welcoming, approachable and knowledgeable about Kyoto's history, places of interest and restaurants. The hostel was so beautifully furnished and designed in a traditional Japanese style, which will feature well in anyone's social media post. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Certainly, this place is up there to be the best accommodation that I have stayed in.
