Open from August 2017, Guest House Wagokoro offers a modern Japanese-style accommodation an 8-minute stroll away from JR Nippori Station. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom and toilet. Overall, on our Japanese trip, Wagokoro was the best accommodation out of all our stays - it was the most economical, yet for us, was far preferable than some of the more sophisticated hotels we also stayed in. We loved the neighbourhood - quiet, yet plenty on offer. The station has great food options, the bakery 3 mins walk away was exceptional, and soon became our local, and although we didn't get to try it, there is a fabulous ramen place hidden away on the main road. Wagokoro is about 8-12 mins walk from the station, but that didn't bother us. We were glad for the quiet, after the intense busyness after our days out in Tokyo. (Nippori station is on the JR Yamanote line. It's also a stop on the Keisei Skyliner making it easy to get to from Narita Airport.) The staff were the best - so warm, friendly and helpful - it was like coming back home at the end of each day. The shared food prep and dining area was good for heating up and eating quick meals from the Family Mart, and the bedrooms were the most generously sized out of all our accommodation in Japan.

The owner is very helpful, he can provide pick-up service from airport or disneyland which I found was very handy

Set just 15 km from Motomachi Port, 築100年の宿【はぶの家】 features accommodation in Oshima with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. The building is beautiful and comfortable - with plenty of space for many guests. The owner is also a very kind woman, who is happy to give advice on places to go to and see.

The location was great, just a 10 minute walk from Oshiage station. Great facilities, and a nice and clean apartment on arrival!

Excellent service, we felt so welcome at this hotel! The owners were so kind, they were even willing to accommodate our lack of Japanese language skills. The breakfast on the porch in the morning was such a treat, highly recommended it. Also, the location was great, the room had an amazing view of the Tama Rive Gorge! The room was well equipped and roomy. I also liked that it was within walking distance of the river walk and other sites.

Located in Hachijo, 3.6 km from Ubai Homei Shrine, 銀河荘-Galaxy Guesthouse 12歳以下不可 has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. The place is very cozy and the atmosphere chill. It feels like staying at your own place. The owner are very kind and they speak perfect English. If you go to Hachijojima, this is the place you should book!
