The host was friendly, welcoming, and clearly cared about his guesthouse to a high standard. We felt right at home and he cleared the snow from our car windows too which was very thoughtful.

Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. the house was clean, the host so nice. The price is cheap. You also get free ticket to the train. Easy move to train station

Owners were very friendly and recommended some fantastic local onsen. Pickup and drop-off from nearby bus stop made the trip accessible even without a car. Japanese style breakfast (available for small additional fee at check-in) was delicious. We wish we would have stayed a two or three nights instead of just one.

The food was delicious and felt fresh (I mean, I saw the husband grilling our fresh fish, so I know it's fresh). Absolutely recommended!

I Toyama, bare 6,9 kilometer fra Toyama stasjon og 13 kilometer fra Toyama-kō ligger ゲストハウス山吹. Very clean, comfortable and the heating especially in the bathroom is fantastic despite the bitter cold outside. The host - Mizuho San made us feel really welcome.

I Takaoka, 47 kilometer fra Kanazawa-slottet, ligger 民家ホテル「金ノ三寸」(かねのさんずん）, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en bar. Moto was very helpful in booking cars and dinners for us. Wonderful location. Quiet street.
