Could have a warm shower. Enjoyed talking with owner. Very close to all the Lamu action. Owner had connections with others who could help with boat transfers to airport, town tours, boat race viewing etc

If you are looking for air conditioning and hot water, this is not the place but honestly I didn't need them during my staying. I advice this place for solo travellers. The place is very central. You find everything you need, from historical places to markets and restaurants. Joshua, the owner of the place is a very kind person, always available and committed to improve your staying.

He upgraded my room with no extra cost, and gave me a free tour of Lamu old town. He was also helpful during my stay for any inquiries.

The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!
