Offering free bikes and garden view, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort is set in Habawewa, 39 km from Kumbichchan Kulama Tank and 39 km from Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. We had a wonderful visit. The resort is located immediately outside the National Park, so the location is perfect. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and you can hear the birds and the jungle sounds (we even heard an elephant!) The resort is family run and the host, his wife and two sons were very friendly and helpful. The meals were good and (very) plentiful. We enjoyed a safari in the park with the host and there are walking paths on the lake outside the park where we saw lots of birds. Overall a great experience.

Set within 12 km of Pidurangala Rock and 13 km of Sigiriya Rock, Swan Lake Habarana offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Habarana. Dinner and breakfast were very good, the room is very clean and the kindness of the host… just amazing !

Meegahapokuna Resort offers accommodation set 4.4 km from the centre of Anuradhapura and features a garden and a terrace. Very welcoming and sweet family who took good care of us with great food and hospitability. The resort is right next to a large pond with tons of wildlife and is located right in the ancient city. Rooms were clean and comfy.

Situated in Habarana, VISU VILLA hotel features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Ruwan and his family/team are great hosts. They organise all you need and more if you have issues (like us with incovenient cash notes, shuttle from the train station, etc.). Would always recommend staying in Visu Villa hotel if one is in the region of Habarana. The food is great as well and always fresh made. The tours are fantastic as well.

Apartment style stay with Marsha making the best food I've eaten in Sri Lanka thus far. Delicious breakfasts and dinner. Also helped organise very good quality tour to Wilpattu and Minneriya, and good bikes for rent.

Ahogy több korábbi vendég is megadta a maximális pontokat, én is azt teszem, mivel ár/érték arányban valóban hozza a maximumot. A tisztasággal nem volt probléma, a vendégszeretet kimagasló, ennek ellenére adódnak kisebb hiányosságok, amiket Mr. Upali meg is oldott. Külön kiemelem, hogy a söreimet a konyhában levő nagy hűtőszekrénybe rakhattam és onnan bármikor kivehettem :-) A Wine Stores amúgy pár perces séta, és mivel gyakorlatilag a központban van (egy kis mellékutcában), számos étterem és bolt is rendelkezésre áll. Nekünk a reggeli nem jött be annyira -amúgy szinte mindenhol helyi ételeket ettünk-, és azért az feltűnő kell hogy legyen a házigazdáknak, ha a vendég csak belekóstol és otthagyja. Ilyenkor meg kéne kérdezni, mi legyen helyette… De ez csak tanács. Sok sikert!

Friendly hosts, provided information on our route, the room is clean and comfortable, there is warm water and air conditioning, recommend this place

10 km from Pidurangala Rock in Habarana, Priyavimana resort provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and spa facilities. Very nice accomodation,friendly.people,good breakfast.spent nice 3 nights comfortably. We recommend this place for families.

Located in Anuradhapura, 600 metres from Kada Panaha Tank and 3.5 km from the centre, Little Paradise Tourist Guest House and Holiday Home provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a... It truly lives up to its name! It is a little paradise in Sri Lanka. If I could give this place 11 stars, I would. It is the quietest guesthouse despite being super centrally located. The cleanliness of the bathroom was impeccable, BY FAR the cleanest of all Sri Lankan accommodations of a similar price range. The restaurant downstairs delicious, make sure you try the buffalo curd for dessert. The balconies and high ceilings and red tile floors more than took me over the moon, reminding me of my childhood summer villa in tuscany. If all guesthouses were like this one, my trip would have been so greatly improved. I rarely write reviews but I wanted to let the family know how grateful I am to them for running such a special establishment for weary travellers. I have been worn down by the smells and sounds and scams from even hoteliers/homestay this past month in Sri Lanka, so when I arrived here extremely tired from sleepless nights I was nearly in tears at how clean and quiet it was. I loved it so much I extended my stay an extra night, not to see anything in the area but just simply so I could enjoy the good food, good room, and stellar hospitality of this place. Endless thank yous!
