Thomasa if the nicest host ever so available and helpful. I ate in his house for diner, and it was delicious ! He took me to Ella by tuktuk and the ride was awesome. I truly recommend you to stay here.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. The property was well maintained and managed well from all aspects. The staff was very helpful especially mr. Inbarajah. They also helped us cook our own vegetarian food at a separate place near dining area.

Offering a garden and garden view, Lake Front Yala Safari is located in Kataragama, 18 km from Tissa Wewa and 18 km from Situlpawwa. Amazing place to stay and also amazing safari! We did the full day safari and it was a great experience! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

Located in Bibile, 46 km from Maduru Oya National Park, Nobel Regency provides accommodation with a garden and free private parking. The property features garden views. A bit hard to find, behind some shops and apartments, you have to go under the building through, well, a short tunnel really. Maps is fairly accurate so just look for a gap in the building. On the other side is an old house which is the Nobel Regency which should have seemed "hemmed in" by the apartments, but it wasn't as it is set in lovely gardens with many plants. It's an old house with old furniture, retro but very comfortable. Multiple common areas both inside and outside. I had a very big room with a huge bathroom which was original to the house and dated, a bit of a time-warp really, but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Good a/c and fan. Hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable bed. I was hot and tired from my motorbike journey and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They bought me a welcome drink. After I had showered, I asked for tea and a snack, and they bought me fruit and then tea and cake on the verandah. Nothing was too much trouble. I sat and read a book and they kept checking that I was comfortable and had everything that I wanted. I did notice that one of the rooms was small because they had added an en-suite bathroom in a sort of prefabricated unit inside the room. That seemed a bit unusual. But I suppose it is perfectly functional. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Very good Sri Lankan curries and rice dinner, fruit and dessert. Breakfast was also very good. This was a perfect choice for me. I didn't explore the town as I was only on a stopover for one night, and I left early the next morning. It was very comfortable with good food and fantastic hosts.

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Tanamalwila, Mayka's luxury holiday homes and Safari Thanamalwila is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. Mayka is a lovely host! She and her husband organised an amazing safari for us and were really helpful and accommodating.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Hotel Serugahawatta is set in Wellawaya. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.
