We loved the interesting nooks and crannies in the building where you could read the many books and take time out. There were interesting features of art, and furniture, and the Moroccan architecture such as the coving and mosaics were beautifully done. The space was welcoming and quiet at all times where we felt at home. The staff were very helpful and friendly, Ziati and Gabriel and the ladies who worked in the Kitchen and in housekeeping. They made our experience very warm and welcoming by being available at all times, helping us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. They shared information about local sights and made arrangements for disability access for one of our family. They were truly sincere and genuine which was the same for the local people . We had a meal one night in the riad and the food was so good, the service was excellent, making a truly memorable experience. Thank you Ziati and Gabriel who are now our friends, and to the other staff members who looked after us so well in Salé.

Ideally situated in Rabat, Dar Al Fanouss features a continental breakfast and free WiFi. Well set in the Rabat Medina district, this guest house is situated 1.4 km from Plage de Rabat. The location in a quiet street off the main Medina road was perfect. The hotel was very clean Staff and owner friendly and helpful Breakfast was delicious

It was an unplanned stop as we were driving to Fez, it got late and we were tired so found this place to stay overnight. We got there late, at check in we asked Muhammed the owner about food, he said its difficult at this time we said ok we will have tea and go to sleep, as we finished tea and were going to bed he said wait for the food, we were surprised he told he had called friend who came and made us one the best Tajines we had in Morroco. It's a proper rural Moroccan house with basic room and toilet, they will warm some water for you if needed, you feel back in time with the mudden walls and rooms, it's a proper experience. And he wouldn't take any extra money for the Tajine in the morning considering that just native hospitality. It was a really unique stay during our trip.

The location was perfect in the Medina and the host was very welcoming and friendly. We actually came at 1.30am at night in the end because our flight was delayed, and it was all still okay which was nice!
