Casa 821 er nýlega enduruppgerð heimagisting í miðbæ Oaxaca-borgar, 7,4 km frá Monte Alban og 46 km frá Mitla. Gististaðurinn státar af sameiginlegu eldhúsi og sólarverönd. We booked 2 rooms, we love the one on ground floor which is much bigger with nice full equipped pantry space with big drinking water dispenser. We also like bathroom and sitting area in outdoor space. Laundry complimentary is such a great help for us, it is quick and neat! Clean spacious roof top is a plus.

Huilinitz Hostal er staðsett í Brisas de Zicatela og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd. Gististaðurinn er með garð- og borgarútsýni og er í 200 metra fjarlægð frá Zicatela-strönd. The vibe in general. Really cool people coming and going. The staff was super nice. We had a friend hospitalized during our time there and everyone around was super supportive and made everything possible to help. Besides the people, this hostel organizes plenty of activities. There is always a plan going around. It's a perfect hostel to travel solo or with friends and meet new people. Don't forget to say hi to Huitzilin, the iguana :)

HOSTAL XAO er staðsett í miðbæ Oaxaca, 7,4 km frá Monte Alban og 45 km frá Mitla. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og verönd. Very clean hostel right next to the bus Station. Friendly stuff, good wifi and super quiet. I can recommend it.

As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

Casa Sixta er staðsett í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Principal-ströndinni og býður upp á garð og loftkæld gistirými með verönd og ókeypis WiFi. There is air conditioning in the hostel. The rooms are shared only for two people which is very comfortable. The kitchen has mixer. The staff is one of the nicest I have met, I came very sick and Magnolia gave me pills and helped me to recover, she was so nice and it was shown that she truly cared.

Casa Donaji er staðsett í Oaxaca-borg, 14 km frá Monte Alban, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis WiFi, sólarhringsmóttöku og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. The hosts were a delight and made us feel truly at home. They gave us a great insight into their lives, the place with countless tips and advice. This was an incredible experience and I’d recommend it to everyone. Our room was very spacious and well equipped. The views were incredible and we wished we stayed for longer!

Villa Bonobo - Coliving er með útisundlaug, bar, sameiginlega setustofu og garð í Puerto Escondido. Það er sameiginlegur ofn og kaffivél til staðar. The place was nice, super clean and breezy(needed with the Puerto heat). Even though there was some construction nearby, the room was completely quiet(!). The staff(Myrna and Diego)were friendly and super helpful guiding us through what we needed and went out of their way to accommodate our requests

Paziflora Hostel er staðsett í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Principal-ströndinni og býður upp á útisundlaug, garð og loftkæld gistirými með verönd og ókeypis WiFi. it’s my favorite hostel in Mexico. I came here 4 times already and enjoyed it a lot. the family and guys who work there are so gorgeous. the beds are comfortable, everything is clean. it’s relaxing and next to some awesome beaches, shops and well located. the hostel made Christmas and New Years special an welcome . would have loved to stay longer and recommend it to everyone. thanks grands and family 😘

Bed was comfy, no bunks and spacious room. Breakfast each morning was unbelievable, and they happily cater to diatery needs (vegan/vego etc). There were included activities every night - mole and mezcal tasting, cocktails, movies and cooking class - all of which were well thought out and a great way to meet other guests. The workers and volunteers were super lovely and helpful. I had an amazing time and I will defintley stay again if I am lucky enough to find myself back in Oaxaca.
