The staff(family) were so friendly and hospitable. My two young boys loved it there and didn’t want to leave. The communal kitchen is clean and has everything you need to make your own food. We loved it there so much we booked another night later in our trip.

Mauricio is the best host! We immediately felt like friends at Casa Mech. He gave us awesome suggestions for restaurants and always took time to chat with us and check in about our stay. The guesthouse is small with just 6 rooms and is built so that you feel like you are staying in a tropical tree house. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and romantic! We loved the little pool on the roof; perfect for a refreshing dip after a day at the beach. We had the best time!

Right on the beach, within walking distance of everything. Hosts were friendly and couldn’t help us more. They even cooked us a lobster dinner as we bought some local lobster. We enjoyed having a communal kitchen as well. David took us onna very reasonably priced eco tour where we saw dolphins, sea turtles and a manatee! An experience of a lifetime!

A family-run business with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. And even its own private pier with hammock and free use of kayaks. A little slice of paradise!

Incredible location close to passenger ferry port but away from main cruise ship hub. 1 road off the main drag with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Secure property and very quiet. Beautiful backyard garden with seating area. Theresa is a wonderful helpful host with the best little dog Booking that greets you!! I love that she has maps available, free water, book exchange. There’s a little shared kitchen with coffee tea fridge sink toaster microwave kettle and you could buy beers or sodas if you like on an honour system. Room is clean comfortable and spacious. We booked a family studio which had a king bed and full size fridge, coffee machine and microwave. Next time we’d likely just get a room and use the shared kitchen as we didn’t cook much.
