We enjoyed our stay at Silvan Garden. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and the rooms were clean and well furnished with ever we need. The hotel was able to provide a cot for our baby, and we found it to be a very family friendly place to stay. We really loved the buffet breakfast and having access to the shared kitchen to prepare meals for our kids while travelling. Special thanks to house steward John who made a special trip to buy ice for our daughter after she banged her knee, and for taking her out to feed the fish in the garden.We felt very welcome, and appreciated the care of all the staff. The location is also quiet, with ample parking and shops and restaurants in walking distance.

A calm, cozy and comforting forested guest house, managed by an excellent host Norman, who is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Norman is very knowledgable, sweet and helps you with all tips you may possibly need upon your arrival. Be it a hair dryer to quickly dry something or a place to wash your shoes, fret not because you’ll find it here! There is also bag storage option should you need to go elsewhere/ fly outside a quick visa run and return. Oh, you may also help yourself with some breakfast in the kitchen everyday. If you are a vegan like me, you may grab soy milk, peanut butter and vegan bread from around. Plant of options around. Wish you a nice stay in Tanah Rata!

I loved my stay here, it has been one of my favourites so far in my travels. The property does not have a view but it is so peaceful. Rooms are small but the area outside is big and I cooked everyday here. The host also created a group for everyone (brilliant idea) and we all got together to play card games etc. I have loved my stay at the cave.

We spent three nights at Heatithude and very much enjoyed it. It is in a small, authentic town half an hour drive from Tanah Rata. Host Dennis is very helpful (he took us in his own car to the scooter rental company on our first day), room is clean and has a nicely decorated attached bathroom and the terrace on the small river at the back of the house is very nice to sit and drink a cup of coffee from the shared kitchen. We recommend this place!
