Very lovely owners and clean toilets and rooms. I had a pretty long stay considering there's nothing much to do at malacca, but the owner gave me many suggestions of places to visit or eat at. I basically had more than enough activities to do. I couldn't even finish visiting all the food locations suggested (the ones I managed to visit were all great) Very quiet location even though it is very close to the bustling jonker street and weekend night market. As a light sleeper I had good sleeps. Very worthy place for the price.

The guest house is in the old part of town, step outside and there's SO many places to eat. A little local market just down the road and only 10 minutes walk to Jonker Street, the river and all the other delights that fabulous Melaka had to offer. The hosts of the guesthouse are what make it so fabulous. Super welcoming, full of information and ideas of things to do. Coffee and tea are available all the time plus breakfast of toast and spreads and delicious banana cake. We stayed in the triple room as we wanted a little extra space and it was perfect. The guesthouse is super quirky with colourful art and decorations. We loved it and would happily stay again. Super clean too.

It's all been provided by the host himself. Masyallah. The host, Mr. Luqman, is extremely welcoming and gracious. He waited patiently for our arrival after the allotted hour. Communication with the host is a breeze. I'm glad we took up this offer. 😌 I'm thrilled with it. Will return here without a doubt. We are grateful to Mr Luqman for helping us over our entire stay. We also loved the big bathroom with a bath and separate sinks. The bed was super comfy and the location was good for exploring the main areas of Malacca. Also really appreciated the host receiving us for check-in.

D'Laksamana is beyond my expectations. We got the whole floor with our group. Perfect cleaning. We can use 2 bathrooms (1 in my room and 1 shared bathroom). All the facilities like toiletries, towels... are so good. There were lots of adapter chargers which were so convenient for us to charge all the electric devices. The location is perfect, next to the Jonker Street and a lot of local restaurants with cheap prices. Despite all the busy streets nearby, the neighbors were quiet at night so they could have a good sleep. Mr. Kee also gave us mandarin to eat for free. His hospitality really made the trip to Melaka more memorable.
