Offering a garden and garden view, Kiwiblue is situated in Kerikeri, 1.3 km from Kemp House and Stone Store and 20 km from Haruru Falls. Really nice place. We got there pretty late and we’re easily able to get in. Bathroom was amazing. Lots of lovely little touches like moisturizer, cookies, coffee, and reading material.

Set in Russell, 200 metres from Tapeka Point Beach and 1.2 km from Flagstaff Hill, The Pacific Room, Tapeka Point provides accommodation with amenities such as free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. There is a lovely short hike to the end of the point just around the block, and there is also a beach with a swimming area down the road.

Offering garden views, Kaingarua Retreat is an accommodation situated in Kerikeri, 5.5 km from Kemp House and Stone Store and 14 km from Haruru Falls. Spotlessly clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely sunny living area and blackout blinds in the bedroom for a deep sleep. The bed was also comfortable.

Fantail River Lodge in Haruru provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. This guest house features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Although the location was out of town (approximately 10 minutes), for us this was not a problem as we had a vehicle & it was in a very peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable & was a king bed - room very clean & well set out. Our hosts were very accommodating & very friendly.

Paradise on The Strand is set in Russell, 500 metres from Christ church, 400 metres from Russell Museum, and 700 metres from Flagstaff Hill. I don’t know how this accommodation could be any better - it’s location on The Strand, the amazing view of the bay from the patio, the delicious, homemade breakfast delivered to your apartment every day, the most gracious, thougtful host. It was just wonderful. I told my husband, cancel the rest of our roadtrip around the North Island, let’s just stay here. Highly recommend!

Offering quiet street views, Top of the Bay is an accommodation situated in Paihia, 1.2 km from Te Ti Bay Beach and 11 km from Opua Forest. The location up the hill from the town offered a lovely view of the Bay and was very peaceful and private.

Offering a garden and river view, Taranaki is situated in Waihaha, 18 km from Christ church and 19 km from Russell Museum. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. There was everything to like about this venue. I rate it my best stay in NZ so far in 2 months. I would urge all to experience it for themselves.
