There is a lovely short hike to the end of the point just around the block, and there is also a beach with a swimming area down the road.

I Kerikeri, bare 19 kilometer fra Opua Forest og 5,5 kilometer fra Kemp House and Stone Store ligger Kaingarua Retreat. Spotlessly clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely sunny living area and blackout blinds in the bedroom for a deep sleep. The bed was also comfortable.

I Haruru, bare 20 kilometer fra Opua Forest og 2,7 kilometer fra Haruru Falls ligger Fantail River Lodge. Although the location was out of town (approximately 10 minutes), for us this was not a problem as we had a vehicle & it was in a very peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable & was a king bed - room very clean & well set out. Our hosts were very accommodating & very friendly.

Stunning accommodation, exceptional breakfast and an amazing host . We went sailing yesterday and returned to a freshly baked loaf of bread . I wish we could have stayed longer.

I Paihia, bare 14 minutters gange fra Te Ti Bay Beach og 11 kilometer fra Opua Forest ligger Top of the Bay. The steep hill was tricky, but the studio apartment had a great view over the harbor with an awesome sunrise. The room was furnished with a small sofa and a table for two at the window. The bed was to the side and was comfortable. The bathroom had modern fixtures as well as a lovely vintage vanity. The kitchen had a toaster, electric kettle, and a cooktop. We ate in the town, and took advantage of the historical sites nearby. It was very quiet and peaceful.

I Waihaha, 31 kilometer fra Opua Forest, ligger Taranaki, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en terrasse og grillutstyr. There was everything to like about this venue. I rate it my best stay in NZ so far in 2 months. I would urge all to experience it for themselves.
