Hostal EL Prado har en gunstig plassering i Bella Vista i Panama by, 8,4 kilometer fra Ancon Hill, 8,9 kilometer fra Rod Carew nasjonale stadion og 9,1 kilometer fra Estadio Rommel Fernandez. I have never experienced such kind helpful staff. Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)

If you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay in the rain forest then El Nido is the perfect spot. I enjoyed sitting outside my room totally engulfed in nature. John is an amazing host and has great suggestions on hiking trails in the area. Several good restaurants near by.
