The location is good, less than ten minutes walking (~3sol with mototaxi) to the main square. The street to the main square, during the night, is fully illuminated with several restaurants.

My favorite hotel in Iquitos - I stayed here repeatedly and I've always enjoyed my stay very much. My room was really big and comfy, and it even had a private fridge, which definitely comes handy. I really liked the common areas as well. The owners and the staff are super nice and friendly, they even let me store my luggage when I was going to the jungle for few days. The area is nice, close to the main plaza, there are restaurants and supermarkets around. As a solo female traveler, I felt perfectly safe in the area.

The location is perfect if you want to relax and get away from a noisy city. The beds are very comfortable. There are several restaurants around and you can find a supermarket nearby. The garden is lovely to chill, and the stuff is amazing. Everything is clean, and you can do laundry at the hostel. The breakfast is basic and enough to start your day. You can also use a full equipment kitchen and hang out in a lovely decorated living room. The area is safe. They also have two cute dogs. You can easily get a motortaxi or bus to get to the city center. You can ask the stuff to get a contact to book a tour. You're very close to the airport too. I really enjoyed my time here so much that I extended my stay and came back after a tour in the Amazon.
