Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.

Beautiful house in the middle of the jungle and lovely family. Philippe and Lucie are really welcoming, they take care of their guests , we felt part of their family. We have been lucky because we happened upon to a family dinner with their daughter and her friends. We really appreciate it and Lucie’s food was delicious , she is a great cook. We did the hiking on the back of the house, theirs lovely dogs Noki and Rex showed us the way, the best guides we could had. The room was really big, we had our own private terrace and bathroom. We didn’t have a car, but if you want to explore the island you definitely need your own transportation, Philippe and Lucie can help you with that too.

Fare Tokoau Moorea se află în Moorea, la 1,8 km de Plaja Tiahura, și oferă o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. Our stay at Fare Tokoau was more than wonderful. The owners are very friendly. The cabins are big and practical, with a front porch overlooking the beautiful garden and ocean. We can highly recommend the Alex Lagoon Tour which leaves from Fare Tokoau and whereby you swim with turtles, sting rays, sharks, snorkel between the corals, look for dolphins, etc. (book ahead in high season!). We would definitely come back here.

There are four separate bungalows on site. We had three couples staying for several days so it was nice to each have our own space, but to spend time together on an ocean front porch.

From the warming welcome, the property nicely equipped so you could buy your food in the supermarket and repare your meals at the stay, to the beautiful garden and of course the little beach front with the port where you could see the beautiful sunsets or swim and also take a kayak and got adventurous into the sea. Everything that you need its there actually, its pretty much on you, in what you are looking for. The staff is very warm and welcoming and extremely helpful, also the owner are really humble and welcoming If i ever come back to moorea i will look forward to be back to this stay

The accommodation was as described and very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was great and served our purpose very well. Pascal and Kim were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location was convenient for visiting anywhere on the island, but you do need a car. We will definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Papeete!

Heimanarii's Lodge - Fare Mahana se găsește în Haapiti, la 26 km de Terenul de golf Moorea Green Pearl, și oferă o grădină, o terasă, facilități de grătar și parcare privată gratuită. We had such a unique stay at Mark's place. It is challenging to stay here without a car, but certainly possible, at least for a couple of days. I liked the camp cabin accommodations. The value for a full kitchen and the number of people who could stay in the cabin comfortably was exceptional. The other guests were friendly, but respectful and quiet on the property when it was night. The option to rent kayaks, surfboards and snorkel gear at a reasonable price is wonderful! There are good food and grocery options within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

Heimanarii's Lodge - Fare Manu se găsește în Haapiti, la 26 km de Terenul de golf Moorea Green Pearl, și are biciclete gratuite, o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. We loved the uniqueness of the property, the craftsmanship of the home abd facilities. It was really clean and tidy on arrival. The meshed windows really helped keep the mozzies away. We loved the vibe but especially loved the environment created by Mark and his family. They are truly special, generous, kind, and hospitable people.

Pension ANAPA LODGE - MOOREA se găsește în Vaianae, la 22 km de Terenul de golf Moorea Green Pearl, și are o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The way the hosts have welcomed us, so good! So warm and ready to relax! The rules were simple, the stay was nice, we had air con, no complaints!! Only thing I wished for is that we stayed longer!!

Pension Te Aroha - Te Rai se află în Maatea, la 16 km de Terenul de golf Moorea Green Pearl, și oferă WiFi gratuit, o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. I spent two amazing weeks at Mareva and Hubert's nature, organic, authentic paradise. They are incredibly warm and lovely people who would just make your Polynesian stay real, because they just love their land and know how to introduce it to others. An know how to respect privacy. The key words there for me were simplicity and resourcing. It's not your fancy hotel, but everything was clean, comfortable, and works well, from internet to hot water, ceiling fans, freely accessible kitchen and mosquito prevention! I loved living outside so much (kitchen and shower are open to the outdoors), eating fresh produce and eggs from the garden each day, and enjoying my little private patio on the back. Amazing sunrise views of Tahiti from just above the house, and this side of the island is best if you want to have a more local experience (and some small nice beaches and snorkeling place 2-5 kms away). Scooter rental just down the road. If you want a nature yet comfortable experience, down-to-earth and away from the tourist spots, this is your place Mauruuru 🙏♥️
