We booked 2 rooms on New Year's Eve at the last minute and stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very attentive, polite and accommodating. The rooms' amenities were basic with no fridge but the rooms were quiet, spotlessly clean, equipped with good AC, and a well-functioning hot and cold shower. Bedsheets were clean and the rooms come with bread and coffee for breakfast. It was a very good experience, overall. Thank you, The Strands, for a very comfortable and restful stay. Would definitely recommend and come back. :)

It is conveniently located near Davao airport. A little off the beaten path, which makes it perfect, in my opinion, because it's quite but still only 2 kilometers from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an excellent place to stay.

If you are new travelers in Samal, you can rent their own car/motorcycle, & advised for nice beaches/ tourist area to visit. The place is worthy for the price. Well recommended to some other guests visiting in Samal.
