Baan Jaru is located 500 metres from Clock Tower. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free public parking. Baan Jaru is the ideal combination of everything needed for a hotel. It is convenient and close to downtown and the markets, and it is quiet enough as the rooms have double pane glass and are in the back of the property. One of the biggest pluses is that they offer a FREE breakfast which is delicious and substantial. I don't know of any other property on Booking.com that gives a free breakfast. But the biggest reason to stay at Baan Jaru is it is a family-run business and the son, Toddy, studied in the UK for many years so he speaks fluent English, is very knowledgeable about the local areas and tourist spots in Chiang Rai, and knows what true guest services should be like. He is the main reason that they are so successful. Their prices are very reasonable and they don't change their room prices in the off or on-season because they have a high-quality product/service. I very highly recommend staying at the Baan Jaru if you visit Chiang Rai. I was 110% satisfied with my stay at Baan Jaru!

Location is just perfect! Approx 5-6 km away from downtown is exactly what one needs if one needs to enjoy the tranquility of solitude. If one complains about taking cabs for €3-4 then one shouldn’t be coming to Thailand or to this wonderful place.

Set within 4.4 km of Clock Tower Chiang Rai and 4.6 km of Wat Pra Sing, Milin Guesthouse features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Chiang Rai. Exceptional host! Milin took great care of us. The guesthouses are tastefully decorated and really comfortable, and the food she cooked was wonderful! Would definitely stay again!

Offering a garden and garden view, Baan Khunsri Guesthouse is situated in Chiang Rai, 1.1 km from Chiang Rai Saturday Night Walking Street and 1.4 km from Wat Pra Sing. We wanted to never leave this place.. it is amazing. The host is the kindest and the most helpful person we have ever seen. We loved everything: delicious breakfast, big and comfy room, really nice terrace. The location is very very good. The room is equipped with everything you need and more. 600 metres from Wat Pra Sing, Shinophat's House บ้านชิโนภาส เชียงราย is a recently renovated property situated in Chiang Rai and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The beautiful old house was tranquil and peaceful. The rooms were in a lovely, high ceiling, hardwood floor style. The delightful owner was on site and made a delicious Thai breakfast, and accommodated my special request to eat early as I had a tour.
