Vara is a real pearl: so helpful and kind - I wish I could have stayed longer and there is no question I will stay nowhere else when in the area. The room is spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, and the beautiful lush garden and veranda just transport you into a serene, authentic world that I have seldom found in my travels. Little Paradise in the South Thailand everything is well mentained and clean. The swimming pool is a big plus. Just in front of the five rooms with a small private terrace the owner is very helpful and you can rent a motorbike for a reasonable price. The bed is very comfortable and the aircon works well.

Set in Ko Samed and only 300 metres from Sai Kaew Beach, Baan AomSub offers accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. Incredible location, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the pier in the opposite direction. Right next to a really popular restaurant, Banana Bar, with plenty more just a stone’s throw away. Noise levels will always depend on the neighbours you get (we were lucky and it was super quiet), but you definitely won’t hear anything from the main road! Amenities all supplied, including a microwave and plenty of plates/cutlery. Good temperature and water pressure in the shower, air con was perfect. For an island stay this had absolutely everything we needed. Our host was so, so helpful. My dad cut his finger open and she showed up on her bike to take him to the clinic and then came back to get me. She asked on our first day when the best day and time for cleaning would be, and when we cancelled the cleaning she still brought toilet rolls and clean towels for us and left them outside. It was our first time on the island as we wanted to see if we liked it, and having this place as our base definitely helped us relax in a new environment and is part of the reason we’re looking forward to returning.

Featuring quiet street views, Rec Art (House of recycle+Art) provides accommodation with a terrace, around 600 metres from Sai Kaew Beach. This is a very nice apartment! They are big - living room, separate bedroom with air conditioning, open kitchen with cooker, microwave, coffee making devices. Everything is clean and nice to use. But most importantly, the apartment is very cosy, with lots of carved furniture and all sorts of interesting retro stuff. This distinguishes this place from a lot of faceless guesthouses on Samet. Many of the interior items are made by the owner himself, which is great! The owners were nice, helpful with advice and communication with them was easy. One of the best accommodation options on Samet, we recommend!

She spoiled us with an upgrade, treats, scooter. Baan is the best! The room was spacious. The deck in front had a great view and was a great place to work, so tai chi, and watch the waves and people pass by. #1 place!

Situated in Ko Samed, Apache Loongdum Koh Samed features a restaurant and sea views, 200 metres from Ao Thian Beach and 1 km from Ao Wai Beach. The staff took action from our special request so fast even it was at 11pm, very impressive
