The host is super nice and caring, he recommends a lot of great restaurants to us. The seafood at Restaurant Haroun is super nice and yummy!! One of the unexpected thing is as we can't call Flash during afternoon peak hour, he even drives us to Houmt Souk downtown and writes us all the details for our easy return when calling taxi afterwards (as he knows we can't speak French/Arabic at all). It makes us feel be loved and attentive for this stay, we will definitely come back again one day. Thanks a lot for your superb services!

Very mixed bag, but ultimately decent product for the price. EXTREMELY kind hostess, whose expert-at-English teenage son was esp. helpful. Location okay (not in Djerbahood) but see notes re: what I didn't like.

Maison d'hôtes Dar El Kahina Djerba mempunyai taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres matahari dengan kolam renang dan sarapan bufet di Mezraya. Isabelle is an amazing host and made us feel welcome all the time! The room is big, it has a nice balcony and everything has been renovated recently. Cleaning standards were way higher than everywhere else in Tunisia. Breakfast was very good, specially the sweet treats, with freshly baked brioche or cakes each morning. Location is good if you have a car. You can walk to the nearest beach, however it's nicer to drive 5/10 min to a beach without all the all inclusive resorts activity.

Dar Naël mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Houmt Souk. The lady and gentlemen who manage this hotel are the sweetest people with the biggest heart. The lady's cooking is out of this world. Real homemade food. Felt like we were in a home away from home. Make sure you have dinner if you're here. I'll come to Djerba again just to stay in this hotel. Highlights - very clean - the sheets and pillow smelt clean and freshly laundered - beds are comfortable - it's beautiful - perfect for all your Instagram and tiktok videos - the owner, the staff and everyone was lovely (even the cat :)! - it's right next to Djerba hood - short drive away from the centre - if you can't speak French, the lady and gentlemen can communicate well with Google translate or other similar apps - THE BREAKFAST!!!!!! - I could go on and on about other good things We only stayed here for one night as it was at the end of our trip and it was the highlight of our trip. Please book at least two or more nights so you don't regret booking only one night like us. I could stay here for one week.

The place is a beautifully renovated historic home that keeps its original character. The pool was small but super refreshing and a nice spot to chill. Location is also great. It is close to the old city, easy to get around. But honestly, what made the stay was the host. She’s an artist and such a kind, welcoming person. She gave great recommendations and just made the whole experience feel really warm and personal. Breakfast was amazing too. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a stay with character, comfort, and a genuinely lovely host.
