I indeed recommend Dar Hkaiem and I will definitely come back if I am at Sousse.

The terrace is enjoyable day and night. I especially appreciated the little pool next to my room that allowed to cool off after a hot day out. The staff are very friendly and they go way far to help and make your stay comfortable. Access to the fridge in the kitchen is also very useful. The included breakfast was very good and served in an enjoyable area. The house is inside the Medina, so you get a feeling of life in Soussa. Walking distance to everything you may want to visit. I really recommend this house. It is definitely worth the price, which is very affordable for what you get.
