Good stopover on HCM road. It’s cheap & basic. Owners helped where they could but the language barrier was obvious because I can’t speak Vietnamese. (My fault, not theirs) Generally clean. Hot water in bathroom, which was private. Room door locks. Motorcycles parked safely in foyer area & behind a gate over night. There is a great Banh My place about 50m up to the left on the looking at the street , and a coffee place 2 doors further up.

Very nice rooms, quiet, good food at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, helped me with a luxury bus to Hue, and were in general very tentative to guests’ needs. Very good value for the price and will definitely come back.

Really great stay here. The family are so friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. Very good value for money. They also arranged a trip to Vinh Moc tunnels which was brilliant, we learnt a lot and the guides made it friendly for the children. We also hired scooters from the guesthouse to go to the beach which was really nice.

The owners were super friendly trying hard to satisfy all our needs, specially getting us transport to Laos. Room is spacious and pillow comfortable. The guest house served us a late dinner, simple but tasty

The stay was super nice. The host family were friendly and the location is obviously perfect for any travellers who want to visit different places in Quang Tri or to go to other provinces. You can find every types of service (open until 11 pm normally) around this house.

We had a wonderful time at this special place. The view was incredible and the hosts were so attentive and lovely.

The host was very helpful and everyone did their best to make our stay enjoyable. They also serve very good breakfast in the morning.

Perfect for what I came for, a place to sleep in the little town of Lao Bao. Very seventies country hotel vibe. The lovely staff in the lobby booked a cheap bus for me to Hue from Lao Bao the day after.

the hosts were super friendly and helpful in organising a reasonably priced scooter for the visa run to Lao Bao and how to travel on from Dong Ha. Facilities are pretty basic but good for the price.

Solid but unspectacular guesthouse in a small town. Perfect if you’re passing by for a night on a budget.
