Homestays in Chaitén

Very new, simple hostel (woodburner was put in between my stays at start and finish of Ruta 7 road trip!), so clean, spotless new bathroom with very comfortable bed. Wonderful host family - nothing too much trouble. Host will be adding a sofa to the communal area soon. 5-10 minute walk to the main street. Quiet. Thank you.

Klaus is a great host and the breakfast was very good as well as the room.

This place is a real gem. It is surrounded by trees but still close to the town by car. We felt really welcome since Klaus and his wife are great hosts. They built the place on their own and there must have gone a lot of passion into this project. The living room is super cozy, breakfast and dinner were homemade and excellent. Klaus also gave us recommendations for hikes and activites nearby.

A lovely host, kind and caring. She lit up the stove, even when it was a bit late at night. Nice breakfast with eggs, marmelade, avocado, cheese and some delicious pastry. Clean. Cosy, romantic room with Garden view.

Lovely hosts! Clean and comfortable room with a good shower. The hotel was perfectly located to walk into town or up to the nearby mirador. We also loved the breakfast. Also accepts card payments and offers laundry services which was an added bonus.

Great host. She waited for us even though we arrived 1:00 after midnight due to the ferry schedule.

Comfortable cabaña, secluded but very close to the town. Ignacio is a great host, ready to help, cordial and with great attention to details.
