The facilities were very, very good. There was a minor hick-up on arrival in that the host was not expecting 4 large blokes although I am sure I booked two rooms with twin beds. This was soon resolved though. The kitchen was also very good. The grounds of the house were impressive & perfect for us to run light traps for moths. The cost was much less that a corresponding Gasthof over the border in Austria. Our hosts were interested in our nocturnal coming & goings & thanks must go to Gabor for fixing our loose number plate.

Rooms are spacious and clean. There are two toilets, good for family. Free car parking secured with a locked gate. You have to pay around EUR 4 for air cond for one high - worths it for a good sleep! It was 32 to 35 degree c in day time.

If you ever go to Fertod and you need a place to stay Julia is the perfect host! She's kind, hospitable and she adapts to your needs. Even though we didn't speak Hungarian or German she printed out leaflets for us so we can communicate ❤️ she's sweet and I'll be always happy I chose to stay here.

Big parking. Staff was polite. Room was clean and identical as on pictures. Comfy apartment, perfect for one night stay. Food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing.
