A Hidden Gem with a Heart of Gold – Thank You, Pam Me and my wife flew to Ireland on a whim for a funeral and booked a B&B last minute, just needing somewhere to lay our heads. What we got was far more than just a place to stay—it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, Pam, who runs the B&B, made us feel completely at home. She’s warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring—something that really mattered during what was an emotional trip for us. The B&B itself was spotless, cosy, and full of charm. Every little detail was looked after. But what really stood out was Pam herself—she even went out of her way to iron my shirt for the funeral, without us even asking. That small gesture meant so much, and it’s rare to meet someone who goes above and beyond like that. Everything was lovely, from the warm welcome, to the comfortable room and beds (toiletries and hairdryer in the bedroom which was a nice touch) finished all off with a great breakfast. Couldn’t ask for better, and we hope to be back again soon.
