The location is away from the main Kasauli area so it was quiet and peaceful. The valley view was mesmerizing with hills as far as the eyes could see. Dilip and Vijay took good care of me and met all my requests. Food was delicious. Lovely stay.

    Beautiful house in a safe location close to Sukhna Lake and the Rock Garden. Lovely jungle-like leafy gardens, and incredible art deco furniture and other antiques and artwork. A great host in Captain Dan, and helpful staff.

    A very well thought-out homestay concept with attention to detail. Great common room that makes it easy to get in touch with other travellers. An inviting, lush green garden that feels like a tropical forest. The entire place is a living museum.

    The staff on receptoin were helpful - both before we arrived answering questions, and when we were there ordering taxis. The breakfast was excellent - a good variety and really tasty. the rooftop restaurant is very popular with locals which speaks volumes and the food and atmosphere in the restaurant were good. it's easily walkable to the rose garden and to the museums; we did walk to the Capitol but that's actually a bit far.
