Feel at home in Búðardalur – find your kind of homestay

The Guesthouse is easily accessible. The parking is in front of the house. The kitchen ( common use ) is well equipped. We had the cabin with bathroom, it was small but sufficient. The 2 hotpots behind the main building are top! The internet is good. The hosts are very friendly. The beach with seals and birds ( if you are lucky ) is a step away.

Very easy to find, just off the main road. Set in a lovely isolated location, with mountain and sea views. Very handy place to stay before we began our tour of the Westfjords the next day. Communication with the owners was very good. We arrived very late at night, after check-in hours, and their directions of how to get into the accommodation was very clear. The room was fairly large with fairly comfortable beds. The shower had good power with an ample supply of hot water. Outside the room, there is a common area with tea-making facilities, a microwave and plates and cutlery should you wish to have your own food. There is plenty of parking space for your car outside. All in all, a decent place to stay. We'd definitely stay here again.
