The property had direct access to the lake. There was a beautiful garden to relax in.We stayed in 2 apartments behind the hotel that had a small balcony and wonderful view of lake and mountains.We also had our own small private car park by the apartment which was very safe.The apartment was spotlessly clean and quite large- easily spend a week here. Breakfast on the terrace was perfect. The town of Cannobio was a few miles down the road with plenty of good restaurants.

We received a warm welcome and very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Monica. The large shadowy garden with plenty of seating arrangements was like an oasis. The room was comfortable and access to a fridge and cooking facilities was a big plus, as was secure private parking. The warm hospitality of the host made us feel at home and we come to come back.

It was comfortable, clean with a great view. Staff were super helpful and having a kitchen was a bonus. Excellent breakfast included. Free parking.

Everything was amazing! Nice kitchen and bathroom, a lot of drinks. The people running the house are amazing 😍 we will definitely come back! Plenty of trekking routes around and the nature is stunning. Highly recommend. Nearby there's a bar and a restaurant which works all day:)
