I can’t say enough good things about this place! There’s a reason I’m a repeat guest here. Tucked away on the beautiful Diani coast, Footprints has the perfect location in the centre of the town to make getting around super convenient, and just a couple minutes walk from the beach is the cherry on top. The house is bright, clean and airy with plenty of little nooks inside, on the veranda and in the garden to tuck away with a good book or to just chill out with a cold beer. The staff are friendly and the hosts and their little furry family of dogs and cats (the real stars of the show) are one of the main reasons I come back to stay here! The hosts respect your privacy and at the same time are super friendly and always happy to help with whatever you need (ask them about where to eat and what outings to make and they’ll be happy to assist!) Breakfast being included is also a big plus for me as it’s the one meal I don’t want to have to worry about when I start my day. The newly installed ACs are also a game changer especially for the warmer months. There is also a communal fridge, microwave and water dispenser available for guests to use.

The shared kitchen was very dirty. There were power cuts in the nights so the fan stoooed working. There was very little space and the shared space and smoking area was dicky outside our bedroom

The pool was very nice. They provide simple breakfast ,wifi and have a self catering kitchen. I could buy some foodstuff from a nearby shop or go to the beach restaurant. I was able to visit the African pool too.

    Everything: Super comfortable, clean and very well equipped accommodation in a beautiful villa, everything is like in the pictures. Hilda was a super nice host and always prepared a very delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, quiet but still close to the beachfront, with a private pool surrounded by a beautiful garden. They are also happy to provide information about scuba diving, local programs and restaurants. Hilda’s homestay was very unique and quiet, totally recommended instead of a hotel.

    Flamboyant Diani is a home away from home. I have stayed here 3 times now and can’t recommend it enough. What a special place. You really do feel like this is a home stay. So personal! Angie is wonderful as always. I never have to worry about anything as Angie helps with arranging with all sorts of activities, transfers etc. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. I absolutely love the upstairs suite. Can’t beat the price either. Just great. Highly recommended!

    Its exactly by the ocean 🌊🌴; the waves hit the wall you’re just sitting by. Try to wake up for the sunrise it’s magnificent and you can just be rested by the swinging seats with the sound of the Ocean 🌊. The area was actually really Safe and the locals much too friendly 😁

    Although we only had a short stay at Zarafa House, we felt very comfortable there!😊 Ann is a really attentive and lovely host who takes care of everything in this small but cozy resort! She always found time to talk to us and gave us some impressions of life in Kenya.
