Due to the roof safety issue in aayu stewart, we are rearranged into another aayu home , melayu villa, located at lebuh melayu. The owner and staffs are really helpul. During our stay, we just need to pay a little more to upgrade into a great twin room with own bathroom and toilet. Melayu villa is close to many atrractions (jetty, kimberly street, penang street, beach street and street art) and local food stalls. Quite street at night and we had good rest.

Arthur, Howie & Amit are spectacular people.♥️♥️♥️ They each want to make us comfortable and to create a joyous time and for us to experience authentic Malaysian food and places whilst staying with them. The human interaction with these amazing people, and the other travellers staying at Cocoa Mews are wonderful, such generosity of time and spirit. Such a unique experience that I have never found elsewhere .

Easy check in with instructions for 2 secure door entry. A lovely welcome by 9 cats, some of whom love a cuddle. The downstairs shared space is clean and well maintained and the kitchen is great with hot and cold water on tap. It’s spacious and quiet too. A short stroll to the best places to eat and drink. I would stay again.
