I had a great stay at Casa Aureola. It's a beautiful villa with only 2 or 3 guests (I even had the house alone). The villa is on the frontline to the beach and during the night you can hear the waves. It has a very big and well equipped kitchen which is connected to the living room with a beautiful balcony. When I had breakfast here I could watch the sea (see foto 1) The internet connection was available in all the rooms and even at the beach. The house is owned by a Philippine family who gave me the feeling being their private guest. I can't understand at all the negative review given here by one guest.

Staff, the restaurant, and the value are all incredible. The location is a little away from the main attractions of Bohol/Panglao, but you can rent a scooter from the guesthouse and easily get anywhere so it’s worth it in my opinion.

    Beautiful homestay with a really lovely pool and green areas to relax! You can spend a whole day just in the gardens and pool. You can also hire cars and bikes there at a really reasonable price. Lovely people who were incredibly helpful and kind. Nice rooms with aircon and cute balcony space. Our favourite place we’ve stayed on our whole trip!

    A lovely resort with beautiful and spacious rooms. The outside territory is very well maintained, the pool area is great. There are some board games, table football and darts which is an extra activity in the resort. The location is further away from the busy area of Panglao but it can be easily reached by scooter or tuk tuk/trycicle. There is a lovely little beach about 5 minutes from the resort where locals go. Our best recommendations!

    The accommodation offered a relaxing and close to nature ambience which drew us to pick this homestay. The rooms were cosy and access to motorbike was available and essential. Free breakfast with coffee was my fave!

    The home stay is a lovely guesthouse, they opened about a year ago and the place is gorgeous, with nicely decorated common areas, a good size pool, hammocks, etc. We originally booked one of the huts but they offered a free room upgrade, which had en-suite bathroom, shower with hot water, a good size Queen bed, and an area with a couch. The staff is very friendly and helpful beyond duty. If you request it, they can help you booking tickets for transportation, tourist attractions, scooter rental, etc.

    Bohol Island Homestay with its cozy huts is absolutely lovely. Everything is clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Having a pool is a great addition! The place is ca. 10-15 min by scooter (which the staff will happily organize for you) away from Alona Beach. While some people might prefer staying more central did we prefer being a bit off the hectic city center. We can definitely recommend this place! :)
